Sandra Dickerson, M.D. is a 1983 graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and a colonel in the Us Air Force Reserves. She began her Air Force career in 1987 as a sponsored Resident in Surgery, at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Starting in 1989, Colonel Dickerson spent three years on active duty as Chief, Surgical Services at Columbus AFB, MS and then transitioned in 1992 to the Air Force Reserve as an Individual Mobility Augmentee (IMA). She served for fifteen years at the 59th MDW Lackland AFB, TX, deploying overseas in support of Operation Southern Watch, Operation Noble Eagle, and Operation Enduring Freedom. Colonel Dickerson is Board Certified in General Surgery, and has a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Management. Dr Dickerson is currently the CEO of Lubbock Vein Specialists, located in Lubbock, Texas. She has participated with and fulfilled the role of the CMA Treasurer since early 2013.
